Before Dr. Maguire became an endodontist he spent 7 years as a general dentist. During that time he would attend courses by famous endodontists and wonder "How did they do that?". He would study their teachings and buy all of the newest equipment but still achieve only inconsistent results. Something was missing.

He had to go back to graduate school to find that something. He learned that many of the procedures he had performed as a general dentist had no basis in science and were based strictly on anecdotal evidence. He became a convert to "evidence based endodontics" and like many people who have suddenly "seen the light" he wished to share his vision with everybody.

The Endodontic Learning Center is the culmination of that desire. At the center he has built a state of the art facility which allows for a total "hands-on" experience. This facility and the entire learning experience make the ever-expanding world of endodontics fun and exciting.

The Endodontic Learning Center provides all participants with the ability to achieve clinical excellence and personal endodontic enlightenment.

The Endodontic Learning Center was designed so that each workstation is equipped with a microscope, a Dentaport integrated apex locator and torque control electric handpiece, a Touch'N Heat, an Obtura II unit and a complete armamentarium of endodontic instruments including the newest rotary ProTaper nickel-titanium rotary instruments.

The facility is limited to 10 participants and is equipped with Schick digital radiography and state of the art audio-visual equipment as well as to allow for maximum interaction between the Dr. Maguire and participants during lectures and live demonstrations.
